Audition Requirements

Auditions will be held on April 23 - either in person (sign up for a time here) or by submitting audition videos here. Requirements are listed below. 

1. Be prepared to play 1 to 2 of the major scales and arpeggios (at least 1 octave). These will be chosen at random. If you are submitting a video audition YOU MUST RECORD ALL 12 MAJOR SCALES.

2. Be prepared to play 1 harmonic minor scale and arpeggio (at least 1 octave). This will be chosen on a random basis. Like the major scales if you are submitting a video audition YOU MUST PLAY THESE 6 HARMONIC MINOR SCALES (your scales not the concert pitch scales) c, g, d, a, e, b

3. Play a chromatic scale in quarter notes NO FASTER than mm=80.  This should be from your BEST lowest note to your BEST highest note.
